I am doing a dialectical journal and I have to do some quotes from the first Harry Potter book. The quotes need to show the personality or aspects of the character mine being Harry Potter. Do you know any quotes that shows this? Page number would be greatly appreciated or at least the chapter number. Thanks in advanced.

anyway, I have to go now, but there are plenty. Think about the aspects of Harry's character you're trying to show (curiosity, feelings of inadequacy and insecurity, courage, loyalty, innocence) and you'll find a quote for it quite easily. :)

I'm writing a book report and i need quotes to give details of Jacob and edward's conflict through quotes throughtout the book.

I think what this is all saying, is that when they both hated each other for the Vampire Werewolf thing, not because of Bella, well, they hated each other. Alot. And when it was about Bella, Edward was noble and showed that he could be 'friends'. Where Jake said that he would never like Edward. Whether that be spite, or he just doesn't like him, i don't know. Anyway, hope this helps.
