I have and someone should have warned me that her books are addictive and whatever you do, dont read the ending in a public place because they ALWAYS make u say something out loud because she will flip it RIGHT In the last page.

I'm looking to start reading more black authors, being a black woman myself. I've read Zane, Terry McMillan and Eric Jerome Dickey and I'm looking to expand my horizons and read some more African American authors. I have no idea where to start. I typically like reading novels with intense drama or passion hence my love for the above mentioned authors. Any suggestions?
