I write in facts, not what I believe or feel. Everyday we see questions that claim God and Allah are one in the same (mostly by those of the Islamic religion). This is debatable by virtue of two books (Bible & Quran). The Bible books being written by men & 2 women and the Quran by several men that followed Muhammad and made notes of what he said. The two books in no way represent only one God. How do you view this?

There are actually 3 books Inspired [not written] by GOD.
We have the Torah, the Bible, and the Quran
When GOD was teaching the Israelites there times that they wouldn't listen to GOD. GOD is a huge proponent of free will. So when they didn't listen, HE didn't wait for them to call to HIM again, GOD also taught Ishmael HIS truth as well.
All Holy Books are the same, exactly. The words may be different but the teachings are all the same. What happened is satan told GOD that he could destroy creation, which GOD loves with his whole heart. GOD knew that HIS faithful would remain faithful, or hear HIM speak to them, and they would return to HIM, so GOD told satan go ahead. satan has a great influence in the all Holy Books, and has misguided, confused, and deceived people through them.
This is why 2nd Timothy says GOD inspired the Bible to be written, to show us what life is like here on earth. In Jeremiah 8:8 GOD warns us that the Scribes are dishonest. This is why you see so much diversity in religion, instead of unity.

What do writers have to know to be able to write a great fantasy book?

What do writers have to know to be able to write a great fantasy book? What abilities do you have to have and how can you tell if you have those abilities or not? Is there some kind of test that you can take online?

You have to do a ton of homework. To write fantasy, you have to create new worlds. Those worlds have governments, finances, agriculture, laws, and so on. To be able to write a fantasy, first you have to be able to sit down and clearly establish what life is like in that world. How do people eat? Where do they live? What are their jobs? What is the geography like? Climate? One of the best examples of this is Anne Mc Caffrey's Pern books. That woman created an entire planet where the whole society revolves around one issue - the destruction of "thread". She did a remarkable job creating her planet and its inhabitants. That is what makes her stories alive and believable. She doesn't cheat her readers by making things up as she goes along. She stays very true to the world she created, including allowing it to evolve.
I don't know of any online test you can take, but ask yourself, do you think you have not only the ability but the time to spend creating such a world? It takes months and years to do so. Pax - C
