We are trying to book a vacation for January 2011. Would like to enjoy the beaches in the mornings, followed by some excursions/ water sports (jet skis)/ Atv's. Then to enjoy some bars and restaurants a few nights. Girlfriend also enjoys shopping. Was leaning towards Aruba or Nassau. Any input?

Go to Aruba. There are plenty of restaurants and bars (some on the beach, very romantic), there's some decent shopping, and I saw lots of people doing self-guided tours on ATVs. You can also go horseback riding, in addition to all of the water activities.

We are looking to book one of the Wembley Arena shows in January 2011 but I was wondering how long does the live show last?
Any help is most appreciated.

I would say around 2 hours. With a break it could be about 3.
