I recently got an e-reader for my birthday. I'm looking for a website that allows you to download published books (PDF file) for free, or for a small price. The booksI want are horse themed, fantasy, sci-fi, mystery fiction, crime fiction, ect. If possible, can these books be from 2007 up?

Lets suppose I'm a writer and I have seen my book(pdf) on torrent site. So how to remove this from torrent or some other site and tell me if there are any commercial organisations that will help me with this by subscription?
