My husband and I are travelling to Europe in two months and we are trying to book flights between Paris and Rome and Rome and Prague, but both airlines rejected our credit card. We have plenty of money in that account, so I do not understand why it won't go through. Anybody ever have a smiliar problem or know why that is happening?

In some cases airlines only accept European credit cards. But I think it is more likely that you try to pay with a debit card rather than a credit card.
A prepaid card might be acceptable, but not by all companies.
If you really can not get the flights booked, consider going through a travel agency.
