So yeah I just read an awesome book on quantum mechanics, I never understood the whole other universes thing as well until now. Is there a course I can take that is kind of like it?
Answer
Yes, quantum mechanics is a junior or senior level physics course. You'll need a strong background in math and physics to take it; most people who do are physics majors. But I'll warn you, it's a lot of math and physics - it's not like reading popular books about physics, which gloss over the math and actual physics to talk about the really cool implications. The class itself is math.

Can you recommend a good physics book for me?

I don't really have any understanding on most of modern science such as quantum physics, but I do want an understanding of it. I know differential and integral calculus, but nothing above that. I have also read two books on special relativity and I'm currently reading a book on quantum physics (it's a beginner's book). Based on this, what book should I read?
Answer
Have you tried reading some of the classical works of Newton, Einstein, or coppericus all of their works can be found in Hawkings "On the shoulders of giants "series these books require an understanding of high school calculus.
