i have readen the first 5 books but i dont know if theres any more after the 5th one. and i have read the big books,like, the two in one books. then it started becoming the only big books because the auther started making them longer. so is there going to be any more?

Yes, there will be more books. L J Smith was fired from writing any more Vampire Diaries books. You've probably already heard this because the news broke a while ago and Smith confirmed it. She was HIRED back in the early 90s to write VD by a company called Alloy. Smith's name appears on the books but she doesn't own the copyright to them. Alloy didn't like the direction Smith was taking with the books, so they fired her and will be hiring another writer, a ghostwriter, to write the rest of the VD books. I've heard the books will still have Smith's name on them.
There are 7 books out. Back when Smith broke the news that she won't be writing anymore VD books, she said that the last completed book of hers will be Midnight, and that some of her writing might be in Phantom, though she's not 100% on that.

I remember part of the story was a child that was killed by getting run over. I know that sounds like pet cemetary but this book focused more on the house. I think it was the evil in the book. Any ideas?

it can be a Little difficult to find a book with out knowing the name of the author or publisher, unless you give a very detail and good description of the book. the description you gave wasn't enough for me to find the book for you because when i went and but your descriptive in a book database about 20 thousand books or more showed up.
a good description should mention the name of some of the characters in the book. is it a hardback or paperback book. a clear sense of the plot.what genre the book is. maybe a brief description of some of the characters would help also.summarize the story in as much detail as possible.
if there anything else you remember about the book you should mention it.
