How do you write a quote from a book into an essay?

Ok so i want to put a book quote that is about a paragraph long in an power point... Do i just put quotes around it or what?

Answer
When you quote, you normally will use quotation marks (hence the name 'quotation marks' lol) or you offset the quote. You should cite the source as well, either with footnotes or by introduction or other mention in the text adjacent to the quote.
