Should I send a xmas gift or a baby shower gift for my unborn god baby?

I am going to be the godmother of my bestfriends first baby.She isnt due till march 22nd but I'm not sure if it would be weird if I sent a gift for the baby for christmas since it wont be born yet. Should I just wait till the baby shower or go ahead and send one for xmas and the baby shower? What would you do? I am sooooo excited so maybe that is why I want to send gifts already LOL! Thanks in advance for your help!

If you would like to send a gift to both baby and mother, send a book that Mom can read to the baby before she's born, or send a music CD that Mom can play for the baby. Mozart is very popular. These gifts will benefit both mother and baby and promote prenatal bonding!

NO WAY!! haha im actually listening to Christmas music rite now!! I lovveee Christmas so much and Winter is my favorite season!! I miss it and watching Santa Clause, and Rudolf the Red nosed Reindeer is fine in my book:) I am glad some one is doing the same thing as me!! I just cant wait for Christmas its in 6 months but still!!!
