Fun party!
Air: paper airplane contest; line up boards or books on your table to make playing field, put a ping-pong ball on the table, have the kids try to blow it to the other person's goal (off their end of the table)
Earth: air-drying clay, let them create own party favor
Fire: hot-potato, pin the marshmallow on the stick (pin-the-tail on the donkey but have a fire w/ roasting sticks on the wall and give the kids marshmallows to stick on)
Water: If you can find blue toilet paper you can have teams race to see who can spin around and cover themselves 1st. apple bobbing.

Answer
There are too many personality/mood disorders amongst a million other things that could be caused by trauma. Everyone's psych handles things in different ways. You should focus on a mild mood disorder cause by trauma, or a personality disorder. That would be the most interesting. Although, be sure to do hours and hours of thorough research as not to offend people with actual disorders.
You could also go for something slightly more simple light depression, anxiety, etc.
