and then generates a list of books that you might enjoy??? Please help, I am in desperate need of a great book. Are there websites that list 100 books to read before you die???

Amazon has tons of books, and when you look at a book it lists other books people bought that bought that book as well, and you can put books on your wishlist and it will give you recommendations, etc. They also have lists composed by people of books they recommend (Listmania).

Some of my favorite authors are Heinlein (e.g. Friday, The moon is a harsh mistress, etc), and Asimov (Foundation Trilogy). I don't know what you like though.

Most sites that list books you 'must' read before you die are going to list literature, which can be rather boring depending on the book.

Also, try asking your local librarian what books they recommend.

A good book of sayings about life and funny ones too?

I know this man who volunteers at my school. Hes always carrying around this book around full of sayings. He reads it everyday and carry's it around with him. I want to get him a new one, because he probably read that book 100 times. Hes a great guy who has been through a- lot past few years. His two daughters died a few tears ago and his wife died last year. please help me. thank you! he deserves to be happy!
