My 9 month old son like to blow raspberries when he's bored or when he wants me and his father to change the television to his "noggin" station, at first i thought it was from teething but he has two teeth that already sprouted, is this a behavioral problem?
Answer
What do you expect your baby to do?..Sit there all mature like an adult?..Of course he is exploring his body, and the sounds he can make.
What are you doing to entertain him besides having him watch tv? Do you play with him? Sing songs with him?..read board books wioth him? Perhaps turn your attention away from "why is my baby not behaving the way I want"..to.."what can me and my baby do today?"
besides sitting in front of the tv

What are some ways to entertain a 9 month old?

My daughter has a ton of toys, and she watches Baby Einstein on occasion, but I just feel that I'm not providing enough stimulation for her. Any tips? What does (or did) a day in the life of mommy, daddy, and 9 month old baby look like for you?
Candida, whoever the f*** you are...go to hell. I was asking a fun, simple question and you reply with a horrible answer. You are disgusting and I hope someone bangs your head on the ceiling and then some. How dare you say my daughter's head should be banged on anything.

Just mix it up with books and toys. Don't forget to let her play on her own a little here and there. You can try to find indoor play places geared towards babies. Here we have something called Storyville which is at a local library and we take our daughter to play there any chance we get. See if you have something like that near you. I'd avoid tv altogether as your child doesn't get it yet (and won't for some time) and stick with hanging out and playing. I know the toys and excersaucer and jumper and park and.... get really boring for you but not so much for her. Sooner then you know it she'll be playing along with you. Good luck!
