I am looking for a good book with a gay male protagonist. Maybe a great fiction book about the real world. Not like a fantasy book or something like that. Still suggest those. I love fantasy books. But at the moment I'm looking for something like a fiction bio or something like that. I wouldn't mind reading a nonfiction bio either

Rainbow Boys by Alex Sanchez might interest you, although it focuses on teens. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rainbow_Boys)
The Family Man by Elinor Lipman is about a man who comes out as gay and leaves his wife and daughter, but then later is trying to figure out how to still be involved in his child's life. (http://www.nytimes.com/2009/05/31/books/review/Green-t.html?_r=0)
A Book of Tongues by Gemma Files is a fast-moving action-heavy fantasy western that happens to involve a gay couple. It does have some pretty explicit sex scenes, so that may not be to everyone's taste. (http://chizinepub.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=10)
Can't Get There from Here by Todd Strasser is about a group of homeless teens, some of whom are LGBTQ. (http://www.amazon.com/Cant-There-Here-Todd-Strasser/dp/0689841701)
For non-fic, I've heard Hiding In Hip-Hop (http://www.amazon.com/Hiding-Hip-Hop-Entertainment-Industry--/dp/1416553401/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1370611542&sr=1-1&keywords=1416553401) is good, although I've not read it.
Hopefully one of these will be something you'll enjoy!
