best books made into movies image
Q. Well, I know that in order for a book to be made into a movie, movie companies have to choose to do so, not the authors. I know that people have requested books to be made into movies (ex. The Outsiders), and I'd like to know how to do that?

What is a good book made into a movie for my grade level?
Unicorn
For my homework at school, I am supposed to read a book made into a movie. Does anyone know know a good book made into a movie at least 7th grade level? Plus, the movie has to be appropriate, not rated PG13 or higher. Also, I don't want such a long book like Harry potter. Can someone please help me? I would feel very happy if someone could help me, please?

The Secret Garden is a novel by Frances Hodgson Burnette released about 100 years ago, and has been a favourite with children ever since. There've been many movie versions made over the years, the earliest that I know of was made in 1949.

If you can't find the book here's the audio-book on YouTube:

Here's the 1949 movie version:

Here's the first part of the 1987 version. You can watch the rest of the movie in the succeeding parts:

If you can find it the 1993 version is very good. (I bought mine from the $5 bin in WalMart!)
