I am still in secondary school and thinking about my options in college. I want to take English literature as I really enjoy it but I don't think I read enough. Are there any books out there that I should try and read to prepare me for what style of book may appear in the English literature course?
P.S: I am at school in the UK and like Mysteries and Dramas!

Try reading "What I was" by Meg Rosoff, it's a great book which is quite a mystery
till the big finishing, where everything is revealed.
It's quite challenging and might seem a bit boring at first.
